Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech Vishay Yankton SD is currently seeking a full-time Design Engineering Assistant responsible for providing analytical technical and specialized administrative support to relieve engineering staff.
Job Location:
This position is located on-site Yankton SD. We are situated in Southeast South Dakota: on the banks of the Missouri River and minutes from Lewis and Clark Lake where you can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities.
What you will be doing:
- Creates documentation for all products under engineering instructions (TPIs TDPS ICDs DWGs etc).
- Compiles reports (scrap raw material test data surveys).
- Supports Engineering NPI
- Maintains global system databases (materials test limits production flow paths machine parameters)
- Communicates with production on various processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you will bring along:
- Minimum 2-year associates degree or its equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience is required and one to two years of working experience preferred.
- Must be proficient in the use of computers and software applications including Microsoft Office (Word Excel & Power Point).
- Ability to understand Process Flow and communicate to production.
