Mission

As Spartans Design Build Manager you will lead the successful delivery and growth of the companys design-build business by aligning clients design partners preconstruction teams and field operations throughout the project lifecycle. This role is responsible for managing projects from pursuit and design coordination through construction completion ensuring projects are delivered safely on time within budget and to the highest quality standards while strengthening client relationships expanding design-build opportunities and supporting the companys long-term growth strategy.

Outcomes

• Design-Build Revenue Growth:Support the conversion of design-build and design-assist opportunities into signed contracts contributing to the award of 4 projects annually and generating $10M in new revenue.

• Full Lifecycle Project Leadership:Lead assigned design-build projects from pursuit and preconstruction through construction turnover ensuring seamless coordination and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

• Project Delivery Performance:Deliver at least90%of design-build projects on schedule through proactive planning cross-functional coordination andtimelyresolution of project risks and issues.

• Client Relationship Management:Serve as the primary client contact for design-build projects achieving a client satisfaction scoreof 4.5 out of 5 or higherwhile generating repeat business opportunities.

• Design & Preconstruction Excellence:Coordinate architects engineers consultants and subcontractors to complete design reviews constructability evaluations quantity takeoffs estimate and budgeting of projects and value engineering efforts prior to construction start.

• Contract and Startup Execution:Manage PSA design contract and design-build agreement execution to reduce contract cycle times accelerate project startup andmaintainalignment between scope budget and schedule.

• Operational Ownership:Assume ownership of day-to-day design-build operations and project coordination reducing executive involvement in project-level activities and increasing leadership capacity for strategic growth initiatives.

• Strategic Reporting and Pipeline Management:Provideaccuratemonthly project financial and pipeline reporting ensuring leadership hastimelyvisibility into100%of active design-build opportunities and projects for planning forecasting and strategic decision-making.

• Continuous Improvement:Implement process improvements that enhance project efficiency strengthen cross-functional collaboration reduce risk and improve overall design-build delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Architecture Engineering ora relatedfield.

• 7 years of experience in commercial construction with a focus on design-build projects.

• Proventrack recordof managing design-build delivery from concept to completion.
