Design and Analysis Engineer 6 664-Electronic Sys Design & Analy

This job is with Encode Inc a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft

The ideal candidate will have experience with electronic design (analog and digital); high speed low latency systems; firmware development requirements tracking/verification; assembly and test of subsystems; integration of subsystems into the final system; and a passion for finding solutions to solve interesting problems.

Position Responsibilities:
Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
Designs hardware software firmware and interface specifications.
Develops test plans to validate system designs against operational and functional requirements.
Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
Research specific technology advances potential application to company business needs.
Work with suppliers for board/electronics hardware prototyping and manufacturing.
Mentoring entry-level and mid-career engineers in electronic design best practices.

Required Skills:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
3 years of experience developing subsystem requirements
5 years of experience researching developing or evaluating electrical electronic computer software and/or firmware requirements
5 years of experience with the design development and integration of complex electronic systems or subsystems
5 years of experience with analog and/or digital circuit design packaging techniques and/or power systems

Preferred Skills:
Experience with high speed low latency electronic design
Experience with firmware development
