Job Summary
Neosho County has an immediate opening for a Deputy Sheriff. The starting wage is $21.21 - $25.27 per hour and is qualification dependent. Hours from 1800-0600 are an additional $1.00 per hour.County benefits include health insurance paid leaves KP&F retirement uniforms duty gear and paid training.
Applicants must be at least 21 possess a valid drivers license and have a H.S. Diploma or GED. Other pre-employment requirements include a written general knowledge test physical agility test background check and pre-employment drug screen. Applicants must have no felony or domestic violence convictions.
Prior Law Enforcement experience may be eligible for 50% time credit of prior service credit towards salary determination.
