What You Will Do:
The Deputy Project Manager will support day-to-day management of the Business Process Improvement Program coordinating Agile workstreams deliverables stakeholder engagement resource planning risk management and performance tracking. The Deputy PM will serve as the Project Managers alternate and help ensure successful delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Manage schedules milestones deliverables and resource assignments.
Maintain project plans RAID logs staffing plans and action trackers.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions.
Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities across workstreams.
Monitor project performance risks dependencies and issues.
Develop executive status reports and briefing materials.
Track contract deliverables and support quality assurance reviews.
Coordinate communications among business and technical teams.
Support governance meetings and leadership briefings.
What You Will Need:
Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems or related field.
Minimum Seven (7) years of experience in IT.
Five(5) years of project management experience.
Experience supporting business process improvement or modernization projects.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
Experience using Jira Microsoft Project Smartsheet or similar tools.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Must be US citizen.
Work from client office in Washington DC and Guidehouse office in Tysons Corner VA.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
PMP Scrum Master SAFe or Agile certification.
Experience supporting federal government clients.
Experience with federal financial regulators.
Experience coordinating multi-workstream delivery programs.
Familiarity with regulatory financial services or data modernization environments.
Experience preparing executive-level communications and reporting.
