JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduation from an accredited dental school
Residency: Accredited General Practice Residency preferred
License: Unrestricted California dental license
DEA: Unrestricted DEA license
Certifications: Current CPR/BLS required; ACLS preferred
Drivers License: Valid drivers license required
Experience: Dental experience in community health or private practice
Other Qualifications: Strong clinical interpersonal and written communication skills
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Examine diagnose and treat dental and oral conditions
Provide preventive and restorative dental services
Perform fillings extractions prophylaxis SRP and denture-related procedures
Refer patients for specialty consultation and treatment when appropriate
Maintain complete and accurate dental records
Accurately code dental services for clinical and payer compliance
Educate patients regarding oral health and disease prevention
Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities
Collaborate with Medical and Behavioral Health divisions
Participate in staff training community outreach and health education activities
