Registered Dental Hygienist Temp to Hire
Sunnyvale CA Initial 15-week assignment
Bring your dental hygiene skills to an onsite dental clinic in Sunnyvale. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers a consistent MondayFriday schedule with a 9:30 AM start and the potential to transition to permanent employment.
Schedule
- Monday: 9:30 AM6:30 PM
- Tuesday: 9:30 AM6:30 PM
- Wednesday: 9:30 AM6:30 PM
- Thursday: 9:30 AM6:30 PM
- Friday: 9:30 AM6:30 PM
- One-hour lunch
- Approximately 40 scheduled hours weekly assuming unpaid lunch
- Initial contract: 15 weeks
- Start and end dates to be confirmed
Expected responsibilities
Typical RDH duties below should be confirmed with the clinic.
- Provide preventive dental hygiene care cleanings and periodontal maintenance.
- Review patient histories assess oral health and complete periodontal charting.
- Perform scaling and root planing as indicated and authorized.
- Obtain dental radiographs within your qualifications and the clinics requirements.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate dental records and follow infection control procedures.
- Collaborate with the dentist and dental team to support a welcoming patient experience.
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Dental Hygienist license
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Strong clinical documentation and patient communication skills
- Availability for the full MondayFriday schedule
- Interest in a temp-to-hire opportunity
- Dental practice software experience
