Dental Assistant

Hometown Dental is looking for an enthusiastic compassionate and dependable Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Canton Michigan!

We are a patient-focused dental practice providing comprehensive family cosmetic restorative implant orthodontic and emergency dental care. Our goal is to create a welcoming comfortable experience for every patient while delivering high-quality dentistry using modern technology.

As a Dental Assistant at Hometown Dental you will play an important role in supporting our doctors and providing an excellent patient experience. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and instruments
• Taking dental X-rays and assisting with digital imaging
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection-control standards
• Providing compassionate chairside support and patient education
• Helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visits
• Preparing materials and instruments for restorative and surgical procedures
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Supporting the dental team with day-to-day clinical needs

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred
• Dental assisting certification/credentials as required by Michigan regulations
• Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Warm friendly and professional personality
• Dependable organized and able to work effectively in a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Schedule: MondayThursday 9-5pm Friday 9-2pm
