Demand Writer Personal Injury

Position Responsibilities

• Draft demand packages to insurance companies
• Read and comprehend medical records and billing
• Summarize case facts concisely and build persuasive liability arguments
• Write with excellent English grammar and clarity
• Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Maintain strong attention to detail

Position Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication organizational and time management skills required
• Strong understanding of personal injury case types (auto accidents premises liability slip and fall etc.) preferred
• Familiarity with insurance claims processes and adjuster negotiations a plus
• Ability to interpret medical terminology diagnoses and treatment codes
• Experience calculating damages (medical specials lost wages pain and suffering) a plus
• Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload and meeting demand deadlines
• Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred
• Background in English writing paralegal studies or pre-law preferred
• Experience with personal injury case management software (e.g. CasePeer) a plus
• Spanish fluency a plus
• Prior experience at a plaintiff-side personal injury firm strongly preferred
