Job Summary
Client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to support accurate forecasting inventory optimization and cross-functional supply chain alignment in a fast growing fast paced dynamic organization. This role is responsible for developing demand forecasts analyzing sales and market trends supporting S&OP processes and partnering with Sales Operations Supply Chain Finance and Customer Service teams to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
Key Responsibilities
Develop maintain and improve short- and long-range demand forecasts using historical sales data customer input market trends seasonality promotions and business intelligence.
Partner with Sales Marketing Customer Service Production Planning Procurement and Finance to build a consensus demand plan that supports business objectives.
Monitor forecast accuracy forecast bias inventory performance service levels and demand variability; identify root causes of gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Support monthly S&OP and demand review processes by preparing forecast reports presenting key assumptions and highlighting risks opportunities and changes in demand.
Collaborate with supply planning and operations teams to align demand requirements with production capacity material availability and inventory targets.
Maintain planning master data demand planning parameters and forecast inputs within ERP MRP or advanced planning systems.
Identify potential stockout excess inventory and slow-moving inventory risks and work cross-functionally to develop mitigation plans.
Prepare recurring dashboards reports and executive summaries related to forecast performance inventory health and demand plan changes.
Drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes tools reporting and cross-functional communication.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Operations Statistics Engineering Finance or a related field.
2 years of experience in demand planning supply planning inventory planning production planning sales forecasting or a related supply chain function.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets identify trends and translate insights into actionable plans.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including formulas pivot tables data analysis and reporting.
Experience working with ERP MRP demand planning or advanced planning systems.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and present planning recommendations clearly.
Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing distribution industrial products consumer goods or other complex supply chain environments.
Working knowledge of S&OP inventory management production planning material planning and customer service processes.
Experience with planning tools such as SAP Oracle and QAD (highly desirable)
Experience using Power BI or other reporting and analytics tools.
Understanding of statistical forecasting methods forecast accuracy metrics safety stock reorder points and inventory optimization concepts.
Thermal Solutions: Materials like gap fillers and phase-change materials that fill microscopic air gaps lower thermal resistance and cool down components
EMI Mitigation: Electromagnetic products including microwave absorbers conductive elastomers and gaskets that shield devices from stray electromagnetic interference.
Multifunction Solutions: Integrated materials that simultaneously mitigate EMI and transfer heat in high-density devices.
