This role is responsible for safely transporting products to customers and between facilities while supporting shipping receiving and production operations. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused organized and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety quality and work at MCC:Compensation: $22.50 per hour (based on experience)Generous benefits package including medical dental vision disability life insurance and 401(k) Paid Holidays: New Years Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas DayResponsibilities:Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to complete customer deliveries and company transportation deliveries primarily two days per week with additional warehouse and production support responsibilities as and unload products and materials while ensuring proper handling and secure pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain required all DOT regulations traffic laws and company safety vehicle maintenance concerns accidents delivery delays or other issues professional and courteous service when interacting with customersRead and interpret job tickets layouts and production documentation to ensure accurate product closely with Shipping Finishing Customer Service and Production departments to support workflow and customer operate material handling equipment including with inventory control shipping receiving and product staging enter information into company systems for job tracking inventory management and payroll with equipment care basic preventative maintenance activities and maintaining operational of waste materials according to established procedures and properly identify storage all company safety policies procedures and quality standards including GMP HACCP BRC and other applicable a clean safe and organized work effectively with coworkers and departments to achieve operational professionalism integrity and respect in all in special projects and perform additional duties as :Required: High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and drivers license with a clean driving record for at least three DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain safely operating a 26-foot box experience and ability to operate material handling communication and customer service computer proficiency including documentation and driver organizational and time-management math and reading comprehension : Experience with inventory control and shipping/receiving in a manufacturing or printing with the York Hanover and Hunt Valley Requirements: Frequent standing and walking throughout the use of hands arms and upper body for handling materials and climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching and to regularly lift carry push or move up to 50 to meet vision requirements including close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and focus adjustment.
