CDL A Delivery Driver Position Overview

Youll safely navigate the highway and city streets back into tight docks and unload with CDL A Delivery Driver role goes beyond simply transporting goods - its about perfecting the craft of delivery earning trust mile by mile and serving as a vital link to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Driving: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner.
- Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler ramp or by hand placing them in the designated storage areas 100% touch freight.
- Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures.
- Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.
- Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.
- Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.
- Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management.
Physical Requirements
- Lift/carry/push/pull/lower 20 to 80 lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.
- Driving & working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10 per shift) required.
- Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as low as 0 degrees.
- Continuously grasp objects & manipulate objects. Frequently sit stand walk drive climb/balance stoop/squat kneel/bend bend reach above shoulder twist and use manual dexterity.
Qualifications
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
- Minimum6-months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR3-months commercial driving experience in the foodand/or beverage delivery industryrequired.
- Ability tooperatemanual transmission preferred; may berequiredin specific locations.
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation to understand highway traffic signs and signals to respond to official inquiries and to enter information on reports and records.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education specific skills function geographic location and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $27.87and $32.79.
