Position Summary

Driving & Delivery Duties

• Drive a delivery van or similar company vehicle to transport products safely and efficiently.
• Accurately pick pack and prepare items for outgoing deliveries.
• Load and unload goods using a pallet jack or manual lifting techniques as needed.
• Complete deliveries and pickups accurately and on schedule.
• Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding delays route changes or delivery issues.
• Make assigned customer stops and perform pickups and deliveries as directed.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers at all times.
• Review orders and deliveries for accuracy by comparing items to customer packing lists.
• Protect customer materials and documents from damage or loss while in transit.
• Relay customer requests concerns or complaints to management upon return.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues immediately.
• Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly while complying with all traffic regulations.
• Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the workday.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift carry and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand walk bend and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures.

Preferred

• Previous delivery driver experience.
• Experience operating a delivery van or similar vehicle.
• Experience operating a forklift (Hi-Lo) and pallet jack.
• Warehouse shipping receiving or logistics experience.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Regular standing walking bending reaching and lifting.
• Ability to work in a warehouse and delivery environment with varying conditions.
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles and warehouse equipment.
