Daytime Caregiver

Do you enjoy making a difference in someones life We are always looking to register compassionate reliable and dedicated caregivers who want to help others while choosing assignments that fit their lives.

This is an ongoing listing and we welcome caregiver applications year-round. Whether you are looking for a few shifts each week additional hours or live-in opportunities we would love to learn about your experience and availability.

Griswold Care Pairing of Chester and Lancaster County connects seniors with caregivers who help them remain in the homes they love while receiving the assistance they need.

Caregivers on our registry are independent contractors who choose their assignments and set their availability. Tell us the days hours and locations you prefer and our office will work to find clients whose needs match your requested schedule. Opportunities depend on client needs and availability and you decide which assignments to accept.

We are looking for caregivers with a heart of gold who bring compassion patience and dependability to the people they care for.

• Choose a schedule that works for you. Share your availability and preferences so we can seek opportunities that fit your lifestyle.

• Choose your clients. We explain each clients care needs upfront so you can decide whether an assignment is a good fit.

• Negotiate your rate. Our suggested rates based on market research are $20.00 per hour for hourly carewith rates negotiated based on the care provided.

• Be considered for future opportunities. As new client needs arise we continue looking for matches among registered caregivers.

• Make a meaningful difference. Help clients maintain their independence and bring peace of mind to their families.

We register caregivers to provide services throughout Chester and Lancaster Counties including the following communities and surrounding areas:

Chester County: West Chester Malvern Berwyn Devon King of Prussia Exton Downingtown Coatesville Elverson Honey Brook Chester Springs Pottstown Phoenixville Oxford Avondale Kennett Square and Landenberg.

Lancaster County: Gap New Holland Lancaster Morgantown Quarryville Willow Street Millersville Denver Conestoga and Peach Bottom.

• At least two years of caregiving experience

• A valid drivers license and reliable vehicle for hourly caregivers; a valid state ID for live-in caregivers

• Current car insurance for caregivers using a vehicle

• Criminal background check and child abuse clearance

• TB screening documentation: TB test chest X-ray or QuantiFERON-TB Gold test

• Any specialized experience such as working with Hoyer lifts or other transfer equipment
