Day Time Custodian

This is a temporary position anticipated to last three months that reports to the Custodial Supervisor Assistant Director of Operations and or the Director of Operations. This is a non-exempt hourly position. The day time custodian has many duties across different departments. This could be helping with grounds retrieving parts for fleet maintenance or others etc.

The hours for this position are from 9am-5:30pm with a half an hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks. The duties are as follows and may be assigned to other duties as needed.

Basic job functions:

• Collect and replace all outdoor trash
• Clean pool bathrooms
• Wash and dry custodial rags
• Respond to any and all calls for custodial needs throughout the day
• Check with Supervisors for additional work for other departments
• 2pm help in dining hall (subject to change daily depending on help for other departments)
• On Fridays clean/power wash custodial golf carts as needed.
• Leaf blow the carport that the golf carts park in.
• 2pm-5:30pm Custodial duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills and Ability Required:

Physical requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Effectively communicate with supervisors drivers and staff
• Valid Drivers license
• Fluent English preferred

The pay for this position is $19.40 an hour. Although this is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting Colorado Academy reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Any wage differential that may exist for the position does not relate to sex gender or gender identity but relates solely to a seniority system a merit system or relevant education training and/or experience.
