Years Required/Preferred Experience
5 Required Experience as a Database Developer or similar role.
5 Required Strong hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL including SQL PL/pgSQL stored procedures triggers indexing and query optimization.
5 Required Demonstrated experience working with large-scale high-volume enterprise applications and mission critical data environments.
5 Required Strong understanding of relational database design normalization and data modeling principles.
5 Required Proficiency in performance tuning execution plan analysis and troubleshooting complex SQL behaviors.
5 Required Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating on multi-disciplinary project delivery.
5 Required Foster effective collaboration and communication within the project team including developers testers and stakeholders. Actively participate in meetings discussions and code reviews to ensure alignment and efficient workflow.
5 Required Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5 Required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
5 Required Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
1 Preferred Experience with ETL pipelines data integration tools and batch processing frameworks.
1 Preferred Familiarity with CI/CD processes and database deployment automation.
1 Preferred Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS Azure or similar) and managed PostgreSQL services.
1 Preferred Experience supporting government or public sector systems
