Our Data Services Lead plays a key role in supporting the Operations team by maintaining accurate private investment data and ensuring the integrity of client reporting through Addepar. This position requires exceptional attention to detail strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners. The role will have a high degree of focus on private investments.The standard schedule is 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position can be based out of the Chiago IL or Deerfield IL office.
Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities
Execute daily operational processes related to establishing maintaining and reporting on client portfolios within Addepar.
Maintain ownership of new limited partnership investment reporting and necessary system and process updates.
Assist with retrieval and saving of client statements
Support new client and new account onboarding in Addepar
Load and reconcile manually maintained accounts as needed
Assist with data integrity initiatives audits and ongoing enhancements within Addepar.
Partner with Operations and other internal teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of portfolio data.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on increasing automation efficiency and data quality.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
Minimum of 5 years of operations experience within an asset management wealth management family office or brokerage environment.
Experience with Addepar or a similar portfolio accounting/reporting platform.
Must demonstrate strong experience within the private investment/alternatives space
Demonstrated experience performing account and portfolio reconciliations is a must.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience working with multiple custodians including Pershing Schwab and Fidelity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
A strong desire to become an Addepar subject matter expert and continuously expand technical knowledge.
This position is a non-exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $85000 - $100000 per year base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience subject matter expertise geographic location where work will be performed and the applicants skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including but not limited to medical dental vision life insurance and 401(k).
