Position Overview:
As a Data Scientist specializing in Longitudinal and Healthcare data you will play a pivotal role in building sophisticated risk models that utilize signals derived from our extensive dataset. The successful candidate will initially be engaged on a contract basis with the potential to transition into a Full-Time Employment (FTE) role based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced machine learning models for risk assessment using 30 years of longitudinal data.
  • Utilize your expertise in Longitudinal and Healthcare data to uncover valuable insights and patterns.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Apply data engineering skills to preprocess and clean large datasets for analysis.
  • Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and data cloud technologies to manage and analyze data at scale.
  • Read and interpret longitudinal multi-module data and demonstrate proficiency in handling diverse data types including processing images and X-rays.
  • Tune and optimize Longitudinal Latent Modeling (LLM) to enhance model performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate machine learning models into the underwriting process.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in data science and healthcare analytics.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in working with longitudinal data and healthcare analytics.
  • Strong background in data engineering GCP and data cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in handling diverse data types including images X-rays and multi-module data.
  • Extensive experience in machine learning and model tuning specifically with Longitudinal Latent Modeling (LLM).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Adept at translating business requirements into actionable insights and data-driven solutions.
Education and Experience:
  • Masters or Ph.D. in a relevant field (Computer Science Statistics Data Science etc.).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data science with a focus on longitudinal data and healthcare analytics.
