Position Overview:
As a Data Scientist specializing in Longitudinal and Healthcare data you will play a pivotal role in building sophisticated risk models that utilize signals derived from our extensive dataset. The successful candidate will initially be engaged on a contract basis with the potential to transition into a Full-Time Employment (FTE) role based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement advanced machine learning models for risk assessment using 30 years of longitudinal data.
Utilize your expertise in Longitudinal and Healthcare data to uncover valuable insights and patterns.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
Apply data engineering skills to preprocess and clean large datasets for analysis.
Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and data cloud technologies to manage and analyze data at scale.
Read and interpret longitudinal multi-module data and demonstrate proficiency in handling diverse data types including processing images and X-rays.
Tune and optimize Longitudinal Latent Modeling (LLM) to enhance model performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate machine learning models into the underwriting process.
Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in data science and healthcare analytics.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in working with longitudinal data and healthcare analytics.
Strong background in data engineering GCP and data cloud technologies.
Proficiency in handling diverse data types including images X-rays and multi-module data.
Extensive experience in machine learning and model tuning specifically with Longitudinal Latent Modeling (LLM).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Adept at translating business requirements into actionable insights and data-driven solutions.

Education and Experience:

Masters or Ph.D. in a relevant field (Computer Science Statistics Data Science etc.).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in data science with a focus on longitudinal data and healthcare analytics.
