What You Will Do

• Perform data analysis and develop analytical solutions using tools such as Python R Snowflake SQL Databricks Power BI GIS and other modern analytics platforms to address complex client business challenges.

• Partner with utility clients and Guidehouse subject matter experts to define business objectives analytical approaches technical requirements and actionable recommendations.
• Design develop test and implement data analytics and AI-enabled solutions that support utility clients business objectives.
• Translate business needs into scalable analytical workflows data products dashboards visualizations and decision-support tools.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences helping clients gain confidence in data-driven decisions.

What You Will Need

• Bachelors degree in Data Science Analytics Statistics Mathematics Operations Research Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Economics or a related quantitative discipline

• ONE (1) or more years of professional experience applying data analytics business intelligence data science or related quantitative techniques to solve complex business problems

• Experience with analytical and data management tools such as Python SQL R Databricks Power BI Tableau GIS or similar technologies.

• Experience working with large and complex datasets and developing analytical solutions from concept through implementation.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Experience supporting electric gas water or other energy-sector organizations.

• Strong communication and consulting skills including the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights and recommendations.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively with clients stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with utility business functions such as customer programs DERs electrification asset management operations regulatory planning.

• Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms data engineering AI machine learning geospatial analytics or optimization techniques.

• Experience developing dashboards data products or decision-support applications for business users.

• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.

• Masters degree or relevant certifications in analytics cloud technologies or data engineering.
