Scanning Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Data Quality Analyst to support the accuracy consistency completeness and reliability of business data across company systems. The Data Quality Analyst will review and validate information identify discrepancies investigate data-quality issues and work with internal teams to maintain reliable and accurate records.
The ideal candidate is analytical organized and comfortable working with spreadsheets databases and business software. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to identify data issues while meeting established deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and validate data for accuracy completeness and consistency.
* Identify duplicate incomplete outdated or inconsistent records.
* Investigate discrepancies and determine appropriate corrections.
* Perform routine data-quality checks and validation activities.
* Compare information across systems and source records.
* Document data-quality findings corrections and recurring issues.
* Work with internal teams to investigate and resolve data discrepancies.
* Assist with data-cleanup and validation projects.
* Prepare reports and summaries related to data-quality findings.
* Monitor recurring data issues and recommend process improvements.
* Follow established data-management security and confidentiality procedures.
* Maintain accurate documentation of data-quality processes.
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Bachelors degree in data analytics information systems business computer science or a related field preferred.
* Previous experience in data analysis quality assurance data management reporting or a related field preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work with spreadsheets databases and business software.
* Ability to identify patterns inconsistencies and potential data issues.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
