Job Summary
Support position responsible for the collection input and maintenance of various data used by the fund-raising database position researches and evaluates information and ensures that information is entered into the internal database in a timely manner and that it is current accurate and conforms to AIS standards.
Data Entry and Research
Data loads daily biographic updates received from 3rd party systems and via spreadsheets. Researches and collects biographical information on alumni parents and friends of the University. Continually monitors the data gathering input and maintenance process to make sure all information is current and accurately entered into the universitys fundraising database. Analyzes information collected to determine relationships between new and existing data; makes corrections; seeks additional information when and where needed.
Respond to users direct requests
Assist database users as needed to resolve unexpected issues that arise during the data entry/maintenance process. Troubleshoot failures until the problems are identified and a solution is provided.
Stays current on all data standards and practices
Participate in training to enhance skills keeps abreast of current requirements and to learn new methods and technologies as they become available.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. 1 year experience with relational databases database input and maintenance tools
