SunSoftOnline is recruiting a Data Network Telecom Technician for a state agency in Phoenix. This is a contract-to-hire position with conversion to full-time employment 100% onsite Monday-Friday days starting late August.
The work: installing repairing splicing testing and terminating telecommunications and electrical cabling (copper fiber coax); installing and maintaining network and communications equipment (routers switches cameras video and PA systems site security equipment); coordinating repair and installation projects with vendors and internal teams.
Required (non-negotiable): 4 years of cable technician experience in installation and maintenance of digital computer systems peripheral equipment or telephone station equipment and related systems OR 2 years as a Lead Cable Technician. Technical training in electronics or telecommunications through a trade union technical school or accredited college may substitute for 1 year of experience.
Requirements: Phoenix-local candidates only (current city must appear on your resume); eligible for full-time conversion without visa sponsorship now or ever; available for in-person interviews within one week; able to start within two weeks of an offer; background check and drug screening required.
