About the Role:
Seeking a Data Migration Engineer to support enterprise data modernization initiatives involving large-scale migration of legacy systems into modern cloud platforms. This role will focus on one-time and phased mass data migration efforts ensuring zero data loss strict adherence to data mapping rules and seamless production cutovers.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ETL/ELT development data engineering cloud migration Oracle databases AWS Azure and enterprise data quality practices while working closely with Business Analysts Architects and cross-functional Agile teams.
Required:
- 5 years of Data Engineering and ETL/ELT development experience
- Large-scale Data Migration experience from legacy relational databases
- Advanced SQL expertise
- Strong Python programming experience
- Oracle Database experience
- AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS)
- Databricks experience
- AWS RDS experience
- Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2)
- ETL/ELT Pipeline Development
- Data Cleansing Standardization and Validation
- Data Modeling and Database Design
- Data Reconciliation and Cutover Planning
- IAM RBAC Microsoft Entra ID and AWS KMS security implementation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
