Job Summary
The Information Lifecycle Governance (ILG) team sits within Data & Automation (DnA) and is responsible for how the enterprise retains governs and extracts value from its information assets across their full lifecycle. This role focuses on developing retention strategies standards and operational processes that enable scalable and automated information lifecycle management across unstructured data repositories. The ideal candidate brings strong understanding of records management information governance data lifecycle management and regulatory retention requirements and comfort working with modern tools and AI enabled capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
as a subject matter expert for automated retention and disposition capabilities driving enterprise strategy for unstructured data lifecycle management across SharePoint Microsoft 365 and future collaboration platforms.
the implementation and governance of automated retention and disposition capabilities across SharePoint and other enterprise collaboration platforms.
with business stakeholders Legal Compliance Risk and Technology teams to ensure SharePoint sites are configured to support records retention legal hold and regulatory requirements.
records retention schedules policy requirements and business needs into practical SharePoint retention configurations and operational controls.
retention automation effectiveness and partner with technology teams to resolve exceptions improve controls and enhance adoption.
Preferred Qualifications:
designing implementing or administering Microsoft 365 retention capabilities including SharePoint Online retention policies and disposition processes.
with AI enabled tools and emerging technologies including Copilot and exposure to agentic AI concepts and their responsible application to business problems

- Manages and develops information systems for clients; conducts data information analysis for a variety of studies under the direction of organizational standards. Develops strategies for data implementation data acquisition and archive recovery.
- Helps advise business applications and operations counterparts to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Structures the environment and creates logical storage units especially for size and physical locations to map database elements into logical units.
- Implements and supports technologies for managing and effectively utilizing multiple information sources formats and uses. Resolves data integration and security issues for adherence to the organizations quality standards.
- Researches customers needs conducts awareness and promotional sessions for potential customers.
