Job Summary
Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district serving approximately 30000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County with over 3200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services Educational Services and Human Resources. An Associate Superintendent oversees each division and a variety of programs such as Early Childhood Education Child Welfare & Attendance Special Education Nutrition Services and City Schools also offers an Induction Program with a state approved curriculum by which new teachers attain their Professional Clear Credential. One (1) year accounting bookkeeping clerical secretarial experience performing general work tasks; Graduation from high school or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Typing certificate evidencing an ability to keyboard at a net rate of 45 words per minute.
- Certification (An MCS Clerical Assessment Certificate or Typing certificate evidencing an ability to keyboard at a net rate of 45 words per minute must be attached in order to be considered for this position.)
