Job Summary

InterDent is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support our administrative and operational teams. This position is responsible for accurately entering reviewing updating and maintaining information used to support dental practices and corporate operations. The successful candidate will work with electronic records spreadsheets databases and other business systems while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
This role may be performed in a remote work environment depending on business needs and position requirements. The Data Entry Specialist will collaborate with teams across the organization to verify information resolve discrepancies organize records and ensure that important operational data remains current and accessible.
Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and update patient employee practice financial and administrative information in company systems.
  • Review source documents and electronic records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Identify missing inconsistent or duplicate information and coordinate corrections.
  • Perform routine quality checks to maintain data integrity.
  • Maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist finance revenue cycle human resources operations and practice-support teams with data-related requests.
  • Prepare spreadsheets reports and data summaries as needed.
  • Protect confidential patient employee and company information.
  • Respond to internal requests for information accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Follow company procedures for document management data security and information handling.
  • Support remote administrative workflows and maintain reliable communication with team members.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data-entry processes and administrative efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or an associate degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience in data entry administrative support records management healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Accurate and efficient keyboarding and data-entry abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and database systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting when applicable.
  • Reliable internet connection and appropriate workspace for remote work if required by the position.
