At Texans Credit Union great data powers exceptional member experiences. Were looking for a Data Engineer to build and optimize scalable data pipelines ensure data quality and enable reliable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Major Duties and Essential Functions

- Design develop and maintain enterprise DataMarts that transform complex disparate data sources into structured business-ready datasets.
- Apply advanced SQL expertise to build optimize and manage data transformations aggregations and logic supporting reporting and analytics.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to ensure timely accurate and efficient data processing across systems.
- Translate business requirements into well-defined data models ensuring consistency usability and alignment with enterprise data standards.
- Ensure data quality integrity and governance across the data lifecycle including validation reconciliation and documentation of business logic.
- Optimize data models and queries for performance scalability and maintainability in analytics environments.
- Partner with data analysts data scientists and business stakeholders to design reusable high-value data assets that support reporting and advanced analytics.
- Drive data design thinking creating standardized scalable structures that enable consistent KPI definitions and reporting accuracy.
- Support the development of dashboards and analytical solutions by delivering clean reliable and well-modeled datasets.
- Identify opportunities to improve data architecture reduce redundancy and enhance data accessibility across the organization.
- Communicate data structures definitions and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to all organizational policies procedures and business ethics standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or equivalent certifications.
Experience:
Minimum one to three years of similar or related experience.
