Job Summary

This is a union eligible SUMMARYThe Data Coordinator provides all services related to the collection and input of program data for the purposes of billing and creation of program reports and data Data Coordinator updatesmaintains and aids in the management and synthesis of client census performs ad hocutilizationof data and variance reporting andmaintainsand updates tracking reports. The Data Coordinator works collaboratively with program management and agency funders to ensure billing is correct and meetsfundersexpectations and tracks and manages other client data to ensure accurate reporting for contracts and Data Coordinator also supports client access to healthcare coverage byassistingwith the collection tracking and management of documentationrequiredfor Medi-Cal eligibility enrollment renewals and support of agency enrollment activities the Data Coordinator may perform Certified Application Counselor (CAC) functionsmaintainrequired certifications and ensure compliance with Covered California Medi-Cal and organizational requirements related to enrollmentassistanceand client RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains residential outpatient and bedcensuson a daily client exits are appropriately documented in agency and county EHR system and that allappropriate demographicsand level of care with funders to address irregularities and errors in-regards to authorization needs andrequiredclient supporting documentation for client funding is collected and communicates with treatment staff to correct errors and gatherappropriate informationfor correcting incomplete authorization requests and billing andsubmitsweekly billing staff weekly tofacilitatepending authorization needs andsubmitsauthorization requests to to requests from other departmentsin a timely mannerregardingenrollment orcompletesMedi-Cal applications renewals and redeterminations and obtains required eligibility documentation to support enrollment and required Certified Application Counselor training andmaintainscompliance with all Covered California Medi-Cal privacy confidentiality and annual recertification requirements when performing enrollment sessions in EHR system in requiredsubmissiontimeframePerforms all relatedduties asassigned by program staff in ensuringtimelyandaccuratecompletion of documentation needed for billing and data collection perform other duties as Certification and ExperienceRequired:Bachelors Degrees in registration or certificationCertified Application Counselor (CAC) certification through Covered California orabilityto obtain certification within90 daysof hire andmaintaincertification throughout ClearanceMust not be on active parole or probation clear with OIG to obtain andmaintainsatisfactorybackground to obtain andmaintainlive scan :Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel in addition to data management and EHR and AbilitiesRequired:Professionalism punctualityflexibilityand reliability are verbal written and interpersonal competent and able to work with to handle sensitive information in a confidential problem-solving organization skills and ability to multitask and juggle multiple ability tofollow-through to communicate well at all levels of theorganizationincluding working withorganization leadershipand high-level representatives of partner to work withina frequentlychanging project scope whilemaintainingoverall directionand to accurately complete Medi-Cal applications renewals and redeterminationsin accordance withprogram to navigate web-based eligibility and enrollment systems includingBenefitsCalCalHEERS and electronic document management to explain enrollment requirements and obtain informed consent from clients in a clear professional and culturally responsive of Medi-Cal eligibility documentation requirements and enrollment processes.
