Job Title: Data Collector
Location: San Francisco CA
Duration: 12 Months to possible extension or conversion
Pay Range: $26 to $28.5 per hour on W2
Position Overview
We are looking for hands-on individuals to operate multiple robotics platforms and collect high-quality raw data through various collection methods including teleoperation using VR headsets (Apple Vision Pro) and motion capture systems (suits and gloves).
Key Responsibilities
- Collect data on robotic platforms through teleoperation using Apple Vision Pro.
- Collect data in a motion capture environment by performing tasks with their own hands.
- Perform basic data annotation and quality control on collected datasets.
Required Qualifications
- Experience running basic commands in a terminal environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good hand-eye coordination and overall dexterity.
- Ability to perform data collection activities for several hours at a time (breaks encouraged though the work can be physically tiring).
- Good vision without glasses or ability to wear contact lenses while operating the Vision Pro.
Preferred Qualifications
- General software familiarity.
- Experience operating robotic systems.
- Experience with data collection and annotation activities.
