Data Center Logistics Specialist II

Role Purpose:

Perform logistics duties within a data center including inventory management asset management and data management. Role is responsible for execution and prioritization of daily operational activities completion of tasks within SLA and quality standards and maintenance of high productivity while balancing accuracy and safety.

Key Accountabilities:

• Be able to complete the role and responsibility of a Data Center Specialist
• Adjust workflows and priorities to meet operational demands
• Communicate and delegate workload changes within scope of responsibility to hit tasks within SLA and quality standards
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies within defined thresholds
• Ensure proper tracking labeling and chain of custody of inventory
• Identify and enforce adherence to established SOPs safety protocols and handling guidelines
• Support audit readiness and corrective actions
• Communicate risks to SLA performance early and clearly
• Assist with identifying root causes of errors delays or process breakdowns
• Take immediate corrective actions within authority
• Use escalation pathways appropriately for complex issues
• Provide timely accurate updates to stakeholders
• Support seamless workflow handoffs
• Support implementation of new workflows tools or layouts
• Share and communicate best practices across shifts or teams
• Identify and escalate safety risks or hazards immediately
• Participate in safety initiatives and reporting
• Demonstrate reliability and consistency in performance

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read write and speak English
• Previous experience in a data center desirable
• Ability to utilize computer
