The Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Technical Lead to support mission-critical cyber and network operations within the Department of War and Intelligence this role you will design build and optimize data pipelines that transform complex high-volume data into actionable intelligence supporting national security efforts.
Qualified Senior Data Engineer should have the below skills:
-9 years of experience in data engineering software engineering or related technical fields and a Bachelors in a related field
-Strong experience designing and building ETL pipelines and data ingestion frameworks
-Hands-on experience with Kafka NiFi and AWS (S3 SQS)
-Proficiency in Java with experience in unit and integration testing
-Secret clearance and a DoD 8570 IAT II certification (or higher)

This work supports a hybrid work model with 1-2 days onsite (Columbia MD) a week the remainder will be remote. Candidates must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI CI poly level government clearance. Salary for this role is between $133000 $238000 depending on experience clearance level location and contract requirements.
