Data Analyst

Essential Functions
Collects compiles analyzes and summarizes data to support institutional decision-making and policy analysis. Organizes analyzes and interprets information clearly and effectively in written and/or visual form. Provides support for and assistance in defining and analyzing data related to effective measures including the Colleges strategic plan performance indicators IPEDS metrics and accreditation metrics. Develops and implements procedures for collecting analyzing and reporting qualitative and quantitative information. Provides research and statistical support for the development and submission of grants. Conducts statistical analysis and develops data visualizations in support of college-wide initiatives. Responds to internal requests for time-critical ad hoc data and information. Utilizes Tableau Microsoft Excel Microsoft Access and other reporting software to create reports and interactive dashboards that utilize best practices in data visualization. Learns and applies emerging technologies and advances as necessary to perform duties in an efficient organized and timely manner. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in social/behavioral sciences education or another related field of study. Two (2) years of work experience related to data analysis and/or research.
