Job Summary
SUMMARY
The Data AnalystIIIsupports operations and conducts data analytics projects to provide information and insightsfor decision-making or solution development. Implements data standards and deploys automation tools to extract synthesize andvalidatedata fromdifferent sourcesand transform data into usable metrics.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
The ability to obtain maintain and access classified information at the DoD Secret level which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Experience with AWS Cloud computing is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience coding inStataR orSASat an advanced or expert levelincluding experience building reproducible workflows automating analyses and optimizing performance for large datasets. Familiarity with Stata is preferred.
A strong background in health economics epidemiology public health applied statistics or a related field is required.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Designs and implements automated data pipelines and ETL processes to streamline data collection and integration from multiple sources.
Executes complex statistical analyses and machine learning algorithms to derive actionable insights and drive strategic initiatives.
Collaborates with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure and ensure scalability and reliability of analytics solutions.
Leads the creation of interactive dashboards and personalized reports for various business unitsutilizingadvanced data visualization tools.
Formulates and implements data analytics policies and standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across all organizational data activities.
Evaluates and adopts emerging analytical tools and technologies to continually advance the organizations analytical capabilities.
Utilizes scripting and querying tools like Python R or SQL data visualization/BI tools statistical methods and data modeling to produce reports data files and dashboards.
Merges data from multiple files clean and manipulate observational data for research use and prepare comprehensive summary tables.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Masters degree in health economics epidemiology public health applied statistics or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience coding in Stata R or SAS at an advanced or expert level including experience building reproducible workflows automating analyses and optimizing performance for large datasets. Familiarity with Stata is preferred. Experience working with medical records and/or data from the Military Health System (MHS) is desired.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. The estimated pay range for this role is $ to $95K-120K with the final offer contingent on location skill set and experience.
