General Purpose:
Responsible for providing expertise to acquire manage manipulate and evaluate data and report results and escalatingdata integrity issues.
Principle Accountabilities:
Daily Operations
Identifyissuesand conduct research to identify the best course of action to correct the data
Evaluate and problem solve issues with current and planned systems as they relate to the integration and management of patient data
Evaluate reports of data duplicates or errors to provide ongoing appropriate inter-departmental communication and monthly or daily data reports
Monitor for timely and accurate completion of select data elements
Identify review and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Monitor data dictionary statistics
Data Capture
Develop and maintain databases and data systems necessary for projects and department functions
Acquire and abstract primary or secondary data from existing internal or external data sources
Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
Perform data entry either manually or using scanning technology when needed or required
Data Reporting
Interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings
Develop graphs reports and presentations of project results
Perform basic statistical analyses for projects and reports
Create and present quality dashboards
Generate routine and ad hoc reports
Specialized JobResponsibilities:
Evaluate the data that comes in from each department
Buildreports that compile the data into simple and understandable format for management
Coordinate with other departmentsand collect data daily
Make use of the statistics and the programs provided by the company
Work closely with senior management and help them findsolutions
Design efficient data collection techniquesandprepare reports in the stipulated time
Check the datato avoid mistakes
Great ability with numbersas you will have to deal with complicated algorithms
Education/ Experience
A BS in Mathematics Economics or Computer Science.
Typically then a data analyst will want to have at least 1-2 years experience in a specific field when applying for a job in said field.
Same as grade 23.

Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities
Technical expertise regarding data models and database design development. Understanding of XML and SQL.
Proficient in MS Word Excel Access and PowerPoint.
Experience using SAS SPSS or other shop floor systems. Statistical package knowledge is desirable for analyzing large datasets.
Programming skills preferred. Adept at queries and report writing.
Knowledge of statistics at least to the degree necessary in order to communicate easily with statisticians.
Experience in data mining techniques and procedures and knowing when their use is appropriate.
Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.
