Dairy Supervisor

The Dairy Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operation of the Dairy Department by ensuring product availability freshness merchandising excellence and exceptional customer service. This position assists with inventory control department organization associate training and execution of company standards while helping achieve sales and profitability goals.

• Support daily Dairy Department operations and ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain proper stocking rotation and replenishment of dairy products.
• Ensure shelves displays and coolers remain full clean and organized.
• Assist with ordering receiving and inventory management activities.
• Monitor product dates and remove out-of-code merchandise promptly.
• Help maintain department standards for cleanliness presentation and organization.

• Provide outstanding customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
• Assist customers with product selection special requests and product information.
• Address customer questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Promote a culture focused on customer satisfaction and service excellence.

• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper receiving and stocking procedures.

• Follow and enforce food safety sanitation and company policies.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of refrigerated products.
• Promote safe work practices and maintain a safe environment for customers and associates.
• Report and address safety concerns promptly.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail grocery or dairy department experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings weekends and holidays.

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience with inventory management and product merchandising.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements.
