Job Summary

Position Summary

The Cybersecurity Analyst supports the organizations information security operations by monitoring systems identifying potential security threats responding to incidents and helping maintain a secure IT environment. This role involves working with security tools performing vulnerability assessments and assisting in the implementation of cybersecurity best practices. It is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or professionals with 02 years of experience looking to build a career in cybersecurity.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Monitor security alerts and events using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools
  • Identify investigate and respond to potential cybersecurity incidents
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and assist with remediation efforts
  • Monitor network traffic to detect suspicious or malicious activity
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining security controls policies and procedures
  • Support endpoint protection firewall antivirus and email security solutions
  • Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with organizational security standards
  • Assist with user access management identity and access control processes
  • Document security incidents investigations and remediation activities
  • Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen infrastructure security and resolve security issues
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats vulnerabilities and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Computer Science Information Technology Information Systems or a related field
  • 02 years of experience in cybersecurity IT support network administration or information security (internships are acceptable)
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS VPN Firewalls)
  • Familiarity with operating systems including Windows and Linux
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles threat detection and incident response
  • Understanding of common cyber threats such as phishing malware ransomware and social engineering
  • Basic knowledge of security tools such as SIEM antivirus endpoint protection or vulnerability scanners is preferred
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to learn new security technologies and industry best practices
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Defender Splunk Microsoft Sentinel Wireshark Nessus Qualys CrowdStrike or Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell Python or Bash is a plus
  • Understanding of cloud security concepts (AWS Azure or Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST ISO 27001 or CIS Controls
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security Google Cybersecurity Certificate or ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) are a plus
Working Conditions
