Job Description:
Who were looking for:
- Clients ESVs (Electronic Systems Vehicle) Vehicle Development team is seeking a collaborative engineer to work on Functional ECUs and Smart Security.
- The primary responsibility of this role is vehicle development for Functional ECUs and Smart Security.
- Reporting to the Vehicle Development Senior Manager the person in this role will work to fill Electronic Systems Vehicles objective of building a NA electronics center of excellence that complements client Global direction
What youll be doing:
- Vehicle application of Functional ECUs (power slide door ECU power tailgate ECU Seat ECU Window ECU Sunroof ECU etc.) and Smart Security (Smart ECU Immobi antennas etc.)
- Plan structure and design of Functional ECUs and Smart Security through target setting packaging and style feasibility that balances performance customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Issue design specifications to suppliers and manage supplier schedule performance and quality
- Manage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specifications
Requirements:
What you bring:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
- 5 years or more as an electrical design engineer
- Must be able to work up to 30% overtime
What you may bring:
- Experience in vehicle electronics development
- Experience in CATIA
