Job Summary
Location: Gunnison Utah
Schedule: FRIDAY-SUNDAY 5AM-5PM
Reports To: Production Manager
The Cut Table Technician is responsible for preparing cutting and kitting prepreg composite materials according to work order specifications. This role involves setting up material on the cutting table operating cutting machinery using pre-programmed routines and assembling finished kits for downstream manufacturing. Accuracy attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards are essential.
Cut prepreg composite materials according to defined work orders and specifications.
Set up and load composite material rolls onto the cutting table.
Operate cutting machinery including loading pre-programmed cutting routines.
Transport large material rolls from walk-in freezers to the cutting area.
Assemble and kit cut materials in sealed Mylar bags per work order requirements.
Store completed kits in designated freezer locations.
Read understand and complete Work Order Travelers accurately.
Create and manage work orders as required.
Use manual methods hand tools and equipment to produce products in accordance with planning and work instructions.
Maintain general knowledge of material types and their proper use.
Cross-train in other areas of the manufacturing floor.
Develop the knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
Build skills to train and mentor other employees.
Demonstrate willingness and capability to lead others.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
Ability to follow written work instructions and procedures with minimal supervision.
Basic math skills required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
Must be able to stand for extended periods (minimum of 10 hours).
Ability to lift carry and handle up to 40 pounds unaided.
Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays when required.
Strong work ethic; disciplined motivated dependable and detail-oriented.
Must be a U.S. citizen and may be required to qualify for U.S. Government clearance.

Use materials and equipment efficiently to minimize errors and waste.
Follow all written work instructions procedures and travelers.
Complete production records travelers and area logs accurately and timely.
Comply with all environmental health and safety policies and posted signage.
Participate in process improvement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in other shop areas as needed to support workflow and production demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
