Major Tasks Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesEnsure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and other applicable government agency and maintain Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications and country-of-origin customs valuation processes and ensure accurate declaration of imported and maintain compliance with USMCA and other applicable Free Trade with customs brokers freight forwarders suppliers and internal periodic internal audits of customs documentation and changes in trade regulations and communicate impacts to the guidance and training regarding trade compliance requirementsOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in Supply Chain Management International Business Logistics Business Administration Finance or a related of four (4) years of experience in customs compliance international trade import/export operations or a related knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations import/export procedures and trade compliance pass any drug screens background checks and any pre-employment tests which will be conducted in accordance with applicable QualificationsLicensed U.S. Customs Broker (LCB).Certified Customs Specialist (CCS).Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP).Experience in a manufacturing or industrial with ERP systems such as SAP and customs management Skills Abilities & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and international trade compliance analytical problem-solving and organizational attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities verbal and written communication in Microsoft Office to travel domestically and internationally as business needs ConditionsBoth office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory to noise and temperature RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
