Job Summary

To further develop the Customs brokerage product in the marketplace through focus on Operations Finances Sales People Systems and Culture in adherence to the companys policy and procedures. 

Tasks and Duties 

  • Ensure all classification instructions for all shipments for all customers. 

  • Monitor duty deferment usage and levels. 

  • Monitor license/visa applications. 

  • Ensure all new business is transitioned correctly. 

  • Make 2 F2F calls per week Retention/Sales 

  • Maintain a positive relationship with the Trade Compliance Manager and support all compliance efforts and trainings.  

  • Promote productivity tools (e.g. using edoc process management customsware usage/Expo customs. 

  • Audit of files in accordance to AEO  

  • Follow up refunds with customs authorities.  

  • Management of customs system 

  • Send client report requests through the available database (expo request expo reporting) 

  • Provide content for customer reviews duty/vat 

  • Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements into your department.   

  • Review and conduct staff appraisals and one to one meeting timely in line with the 31 Initiative  

  • Assist supervisor and key staff with goal setting and monitoring development.
