Responsibilities:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for managing the complete order management process from initial order entry through product delivery for assigned accounts. This role requires a customer-focused mindset strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with customers and internal and external partners to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage customer engagement and order processing from order entry through product delivery.
- Perform SAP transactions including order entry returns credits/debits quality notifications outputs deliveries/shipments and invoicing.
- Build strong working relationships with commercial team partners to exceed customer expectations.
- Analyze customer ordering patterns to anticipate needs.
- Serve as a liaison for customers regarding administrative and technical matters including EDI Capture and My DuPont.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Review daily reports including open orders returns SAP blocks and promise/failure reports to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic fast-paced team environment.
- Take ownership of customer issues and drive timely resolutions.
- Investigate and resolve customer disputes by collaborating with customers credit teams and sales representatives.
- Make decisions regarding customer returns following quality complaints within assigned Delegation of Authority (DOA) limits.
- Communicate relevant customer information to the account manager including forecasts new projects and organizational changes.
- Work location must be Auburn Hills Michigan.
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Experience with SAP R/3 or an equivalent system.
- Previous order entry experience.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule of four days in the office and one day working from home. Schedule is subject to change based on company requirements.
