Customer Service Representative

Our client is an industrial manufacturer in Omaha Nebraska.

In this entry-level role you will be part of the Customer Service team helping customers and outside sales representatives with day-to-day activity. The core of the job is contract review and order entry: checking incoming sales orders so they are accurate and can be entered and responding to customers quickly and correctly. Relocation is not offered so local candidates are preferred.

• Confirm receipt of orders received by email.
• Review and enter orders for accuracy and completeness against customer and company requirements.
• Keep ship-to addresses contacts and prospects up to date in the order system.
• Tell customers about any discrepancies or changes needed on their orders.
• Work with outside sales and internal departments to meet customer requirements.
• Log customer concerns and complaints.
• Take calls on the customer service phone line.
• Help with other projects as assigned.

• Customer service and contract or order review experience
• Typing of at least 50 WPM with high accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
• Good communication skills with customers outside sales and internal teams
• Good critical thinking for resolving order questions and problems
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work at a fast pace with interruptions and some time pressure

• Industrial sales background

REVENUE: Net 12.5% of first-year salary. Est. fee per hire $4.7K-$5.5K; 1 seat(s) up to $5.5K if all filled.

TARGET COMPANIES: TSG-suggested (client did not name any): John Deere Collins Aerospace Pella Winnebago Vermeer Rockwell Automation Emerson 3M and Omaha-area industrial distributors and manufacturers. Do not source from the clients own plant.

BEST-FIT CANDIDATE: Entry-level customer service with order entry / contract review experience; 50 WPM typing with high accuracy; Microsoft Office. Industrial sales background a plus. Local to Omaha NE only (no relocation). US work authorization no sponsorship.
