Job Summary

PPS is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for our fabrication operation in Parma Heights. This is a full-time permanent direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits (profit-sharing bonuses and on-site gym access) with significant growth potential at a 100-year company.

Responsibilities:

Partner closely with Sales Representatives to quote products accurately and efficiently.

Collaborate with customers to forecast part demand based on historical usage and production plans.

Respond to customer quality and engineering requests while coordinating with supervisors and internal quality/engineering teams.

Manage and enter sales orders and quotations into the company ERP system.

Review customer purchase orders for material specifications packaging requirements and pricing; provide recommendations when appropriate.

Review customer prints for dimensional accuracy material specifications and other critical requirements.

Process returned orders within the ERP system coordinate returns and replacement shipments and work with quality and engineering teams to resolve issues.

Partner with procurement to coordinate strategic purchasing of metals/alloys to fulfill customer requirements and monitor precious metal contract balances.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation abilities.

Strong analytical negotiation and organizational skills.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.

Detail-oriented self-motivated and results-driven.

Strong writing proofreading and technical aptitude.

Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Ability to lead project teams with diverse skill sets across multiple locations.

13 years of customer service experience required; manufacturing experience preferred.

Aerospace or medical industry experience is a plus.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration preferred.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
