Account Manager / Manufacturing Customer Service

Location: Lithia Springs / Austell / Fulton Industrial / Mableton Area

Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM5:00 PM

Position Type: Temp-to-Hire In-Office Only NOT Remote or Hybrid

Compensation: Hourly during temporary period; transitions to a salaried position once hired permanently

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager / Customer Service professional with recent manufacturing company experience for a growing company in the Lithia Springs/Austell/Fulton Industrial/Mableton area.

This position is ideal for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of manufacturing customer service order management production timelines and customer account support. We are looking for a dependable professional team player with excellent attendance strong follow-through and outstanding customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accounts

Provide prompt and accurate responses to customer questions and requests

Enter review and confirm customer orders accurately

Manage customer forecasts and communicate requirements with production

Monitor production ETAs and proactively communicate potential shipping delays

Maintain and update customer pricing information

Prepare quotes for new sales opportunities

Follow up on orders customer requests pricing and other account needs

Communicate closely with production shipping sales and other internal departments

Help resolve customer concerns and order discrepancies

Maintain accurate customer and account documentation

Manage multiple priorities while providing a high level of customer service

Required Qualifications

Recent customer service/account management experience within a manufacturing company REQUIRED

Previous experience as an Account Manager Inside Sales Representative Customer Service Representative or similar manufacturing-based position

Excellent customer service and professional communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent follow-up and ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities

Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic

Team-oriented while also able to work independently and take initiative

Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Reliable personal transportation required position is not accessible/recommended for dependence on public transportation

Ability to travel occasionally for in-person customer reviews as needed

Bilingual English/Spanish is a PLUS

Bachelors degree preferred but not required

Metal fabrication or related industrial manufacturing experience is a plus

Additional Requirements

This is a 100% in-office position. Remote and hybrid work are not available.

Candidates must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen as part of the hiring process.

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

This position will begin as a temporary-to-hire opportunity. Upon successful completion of the temporary period and permanent hire by the company the position will transition to a salaried role.
