Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to become a vital member of our Energy and Utilities division as a Customer Account Data Entry specialist. This role is essential for upholding the precision and reliability of our vast client records guaranteeing that all account information remains up-to-date and trustworthy. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence by handling the accurate input and validation of customer data a process that directly influences service quality and billing precision within the fast-moving energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry operations with a strong emphasis on both velocity and precision ensuring all client account details are accurately logged in our systems.
- Cross-reference incoming account information with original source documents to detect and promptly resolve any inconsistencies or discrepancies.
- Uphold rigorous confidentiality and security measures concerning sensitive client information and proprietary corporate data.
- Partner with cross-departmental teams to refresh account records and facilitate billing inquiries or service orders.
- Execute regular data audits to verify adherence to internal quality benchmarks and relevant industry regulations.
- Produce standard reports detailing data entry performance metrics and account status changes as directed by leadership.
Requirements
- Hold at least one to three years of relevant professional experience in data entry administrative assistance or a comparable area.
- Show a track record of competence in managing customer accounts and executing data entry procedures.
- Demonstrate superior attention to detail with the capability to identify errors and anomalies within large volumes of data.
- Exhibit strong organizational abilities and the flexibility to handle multiple priorities in a rapid-paced setting.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with colleagues.
- Be adaptable to the specific context of the Energy and Utilities industry recognizing the critical nature of data accuracy in this field.
- The compensation package for this position is estimated between $34 and $41 per hour adjusted based on the candidates experience and qualifications.
