Job Summary

Sanderson Ford in Glendale AZ is looking for a Custom Vehicle Specialist to lead the customer-facing side of its custom vehicle program. This is an advisor role with a sales component. Youll work directly alongside the sales team to identify build opportunities guide customers through modification options and coordinate a dedicated team of custom vehicle technicians to bring those builds to completion. Sanderson Ford has spent 70 years earning the trust of the Phoenix community and is Fords most awarded dealership for customer service. This role sits at the center of one of the most unique programs in the market.

What Youll Do
  • Partner with the sales team to identify custom vehicle opportunities and present customers with tailored build options

  • Advise customers on available modifications including suspension upgrades bolt-on accessories computer tuners wheel and tire packages and engine performance upgrades such as superchargers and exhaust

  • Coordinate a defined team of custom vehicle technicians managing workflow and repair order prioritization

  • Write clear accurate estimates for custom builds and modification packages

  • Gather customer and vehicle information and match each customer to the right solution

  • Maintain active communication with customers throughout the build or modification process

  • Monitor project progress and communicate delays or additional needs promptly

  • Ensure final invoices accurately reflect completed work

  • Explain all services modifications and charges in a way that builds confidence and trust

What Were Looking For
  • 3 years of experience in a service department automotive sales or a combined advisory role

  • Strong knowledge of Ford performance modifications and custom vehicle options

  • Previous Ford dealership experience strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to build customer relationships and sell service and customization packages

  • Experience as a Service Advisor Sales Consultant or similar customer-facing role preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Must pass background and drug screening
