What We Need:

We are seeking a custodian this person would be responsible for cleaning the facilities shop floor common areas and the grounds outside the buildings. This is a full-time position.

• Clean floor and wall surfaces to control dust
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment; vacuums scrubbers blowers etc.
• Able to be forklift certified
• Vacuum
• Mop
• Dust
• Clean interior and exterior windows
• Clean and replenish supplies for the office & production area restrooms and locker rooms throughout the shift
• Pick up debris on the grounds
• Baling cardboard
• Empty production floor trash containers
• Cleans and organizes break rooms
• Painting; lines on floors walls etc.
• Snow shoveling salting
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Other tasks as assigned

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for 8 hours per day.
• Have a valid drivers license
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive courteous attitude especially when cleaning in shared spaces during busy times.
• Ability to walk bend squat and stand for extended periods.
• Thoroughness in cleaning and organizing areas like restrooms cafeterias and production spaces.
• Strong time management skills and consistent and punctual attendance.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision as this role operates as a team of one.
