Custodian-Trash Technician

Seeking Custodians for logistics facility in Rockville VA.

• $18.00/hour
• Composite-toe shoes/boots required

Shifts:

• Wednesday-Saturday 7a-5:30p
• Sunday-Wednesday 7a-5:30p
• Wednesday-Saturdat 7p-5:30a
• Sunday-Wednesday 7p-5:30a

Essential Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning - Restrooms Plant Area Break Rooms Conference Rooms etc. This is a PHYSICALLY DEMANDING position. It entails A LOT of walking (miles a day) and includes emptying trashes (heavy lifting) and cleaning outside areas:Yard area guard shack smoke area etc.

While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer we also handle various other tasks. Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Removing and Bailing Cardboard
• Moving and stacking Pallets
• Floor cleaning
• Fork truck operation
• MUST be open to any task assigned

Qualifications:;

• Previous experience in a janitor custodian cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
• Frequent lifting carrying pushing or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Must have reliable transportation
