Custodian Temporary Part-Time (15.49hr.)

• Performs all related custodial duties for County offices including: dusting sweeping vacuuming mopping and polishing furniture floors and elevators.
• Washes windows walls and woodwork.
• Operates and maintains custodial equipment.
• Disposes refuse and handles building recycling.
• Prepares and mixes cleaning solutions.
• Cleans and maintains lavatories and drinking fountains and replenishes all dispensers.
• Responsible for stocking and inventory of all custodial supplies.
• Performs minor maintenance tasks including snow removal lamp replacement and minor plumbing.

• High school diploma or equivalent and two to three years of experience in custodial services and a minimum of one year in building maintenance.

• Must possess and maintain a valid Michigan drivers license throughout the course of employment.
• The physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is essential to the successful performance of job duties.
• Must be self-starter capable of performing tasks with limited supervision.
