About the Position:The School Custodian maintains a clean safe and welcoming campus environment. Primary responsibilities include performing routine janitorial and custodial care across all campus facilitiessuch as classrooms offices restrooms hallways common spaces and assigned outdoor areasto ensure compliance with school safety and health Duties/Responsibilities:The custodian responsibilities include the following in addition to other duties that may be assigned:Cleaning & SanitationDaily maintenance sanitation restroom care and pest and infection controlGroundskeeping and Outdoor CareFacility Support & General MaintenanceLight Maintenance event set up staff assistance with facility requests inventory restockingSafety Security & Student SupervisionCampus security hazard identification staff supervisionPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for 8590% of the shift with frequent bending stooping kneeling crouching and stair or ladder to regularly lift and move objects weighing up to 50 to work outdoors in various weather conditions for 5070% of the full job description below.
